In Compliance with the open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, PL 1975, the Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire District 2, Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey announces the scheduled meeting dates for the year 2009. All meetings will be held at 7:00 P.M. except for the Special Election Meeting which will be held between the hours of 2:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. |

| Hamilton Township Fire District 2 is one of nine fire districts that provides emergency fire protection to Hamilton Township New Jersey. It is governed by five elected officials that employ fourteen career firefighters and a career Chief. It is partnered with the Mercerville Fire Company that provides a manpower pool of over 25 volunteers. The station is primarily an engine company that also provides emergency extrication service for automobile accidents. All career staff are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (or higher) and provide medical assistance to the community. The career staff are also New Jersey licensed fire inspectors (or higher) and inspect over nine hundred businesses within the District annually. |
